The journey took Studio Inma Bermudez to the heart of India, where they immersed themselves in learning about a unique process. The objective was centered around the utilization of recovered or ecological raw materials. In this case, focused on elephant dung, a material with properties akin to cotton. Once processed, this unconventional resource can be transformed into paper sheets. With this understanding, the dou designed each object to celebrate the material, making it the protagonist of our work. They didn’t attempt to disguise it; instead, they opted for simple bindings that accentuated the material’s unique qualities.

The three dots, an integral part of the logo we designed for our french client Pottias, serve as a constant reminder of the mission.

The entire design and development process unfolded right on the factory floor in India.
